Replicators are giant structures used to scan and print ships without you having to place them by hand block by block. Replicators are essentially giant printers. So if you're thinking in terms of a ship, you need to think 3D, right? If you wanna scan it, you need to scan all 3 dimensions. Length, width, and height! So you do exactly this, you build a line of brick to scan the width, a line of brick going up to scan the height, and a line of brick going forward to scan length! There has to be a specific way you make this though. Look at the image below.

Replicators are giant structures used to scan and print ships without copying blocks over, one by one. In other words, replicators are 3D printers. These machines are often used for creating a fleet of identical ships, big and small. To create one, the only materials needed are brick blocks, a sign, and a single or double chest. To start, place brick blocks to cover the width of the ship you would like to replicate. Make sure the blocks are far enough way so that the bricks are not directly below the ship. Now, place the same amount of blocks used in the width on the exact opposite side. If you used 10 blocks to cover the right side, use 10 blocks on the left side. Once that is done, place blocks vertically to create the Y Axis, or the height. Then, place more brick blocks sticking out of the center point to create the length. We recommend adding one or two more blocks to all axis to make sure everything fits and replicates properly. Place your chest behind opposite to the length axis, where all axis' meet. Above that, place a sign and label it [replicator] and right click it to activate it. Your replicator should look similar to the image below.

Once your replicator is activated, you will be prompted with a menu, which is pretty straightforward. In this menu, you have the option to choose the side (left or right) you are replicating. You also have the choice to replicate from materials, which will be placed in the chest below the sign, or replicate from credits, which can be rather costly. Whatever you choose, click the corresponding option and your ship should print. If your ship does not complete replication with the given materials or credits, do NOT add any brick blocks to any sides or axis', as it will affect the printing. Replication is also instant, so once you're done, you're ready to fly! See how it's going left, right, up, and forward? Well, the distance from left and right have to be '''exactly''' the same. so if you go 10 right, go 10 left. this doesn't matter for up and forward though. You also need a sign to make the replicator, and a chest to pull from. The chest has to be in the same exact position relative to the sign and y-axis scanner, and the same is for the sign. The sign must say [replicator]. Right-click the sign and it will detect and show you the side that is scanned on, and the side that is printed on. Then, once you have an object in the scan side and enough materials in the chest, right click the replicator sign in order to print the ship over to the print side!

Be warned though, module signs may need to be retyped, as replication does not copy text from signs printed on the original ship.
