Brickomus[edit]

This is Brick's goodbye to Starquest, Minecraft, and gaming in general. I'll be heading to Africa for a couple years, and I won't have access to pretty much anything internet related during that time. I've loved playing Starquest, pinning random messages on Discord, and hanging with complete strangers for hours at a time. Cheers guys.

But I can't handle being a nostalgic schmuck for more than four seconds so here's a disordered list of cool stuff that I've come back to over the years

Piracy A list of links to all the piracy stuff you'll ever need to sail the internet. Usenet, torrents, seedboxes, etc. Don't forget your adblocker before touching any of them.
Squirt Webpage reader. Scrolls along a line of text in bursts to make it easier and faster to read.
Ztype Something to do when you're bored, and it looks better than most typing games
Marginal Revolution An economics blog that'll make you sound smart to your friends. The political posts lean a bit left, but the flaming commenters are on both sides, so it's pretty balanced
FB Group: Things that are not Aesthetic This will make you uncomfortable. I'm not sorry.
Inspirobot This is the stupidest thing on here but I've literally wasted hours on it. It's a bot that generates quotes with completely random words.
Art of Manliness Resources on being a well-rounded, educated fellow. Everything from weightlifting to getting a date to filing taxes.
YT: Codified Memes Playlist personally codified into dankness. At some point it had about 320 videos, but it's subject to attrition as videos get deleted.
Evil Ted Smith Youtube channel of a prop/costume maker who shows you how to make whatever the Ceh you want out of floor mats and a couple tools
Webcomics Tale of two rulers, Scrap and Topheavy, JL8, Rick's Adventure these are the best webcomics I've found.
Book: When Violence is the Answer The best book on self defense I've ever read. Most of the book tells you not to break another human being, then shows you how to break another human being
Book:Social Engineering Gives a rundown on the basics of manipulation, or "human hacking", and the careers inside of it. Psychology is a hobby of mine, and this helped to apply it. Comes from this website: Socialengineer.org.
Book: Ellipsis Manual This gives exact explanations of what to do to edit people's behavior, and how to do it. If you're not comfortable with the terms "manipulation", "contrivance", or "mental editing" this book is not for you
Book: Dictator's Handbook The rules to becoming a dictator. It's almost comically specific until you start looking at the politics of governments around you and noticing similarities.
Book of Mormon Seeing as my reason for going to Africa for two years is a religious one, I might as well put this here too
